研究领域
肿瘤免疫学。本实验室主要围绕细胞免疫学的基础研究及肿瘤的免疫学治疗方法开展研究。免疫微环境可以转变免疫细胞的功能状态,让激活性树突状细胞转化为抑制性树突状细胞,这是免疫应答平息的主动调节机制,并进一步通过研究抑制性树突状细胞探索其对自身免疫性疾病治疗的潜在意义。自2005年主要研究方向集中在CD8+NKT的生物学功能研究和应用研究。CD8+NKT细胞是具有抗原特异性和非特异性双重抗肿瘤作用的细胞亚群,通过开展多项临床研究,探索其在肺癌、肝癌、黑色素瘤等多种实体肿瘤的治疗作用。
科学贡献
发现了成熟树突状细胞可以在免疫微环境中增殖再分化;在国际上率先建立了NKT的大规模扩增方法,发现了NKT的双向抗肿瘤效应。创立了基于NKT的新一代抗肿瘤免疫细胞治疗技术,该研究是“十二五重大新药创制计划”支持的唯一细胞治疗项目,并获得美国专利授权。目前在北京大学肿瘤医院、长海医院、东方肝胆医院、江苏大学附属医院、齐鲁大学南山分院开展临床研究,累积案例近700例,用于治疗肺癌、肝癌、黑色素瘤等多种实体肿瘤。以第一作者和通讯作者在Nature Immunology、Blood、Scientific Reports等免疫学高水平杂志发表文章;主持、参加多项自然科学基金、十二五国家新药创制计划、重大传染病计划以及“863”计划等国家项目。
