With the support of policies and funding from Tsinghua University and the School of Medicine, the idea of establishing the “Tsinghua University Translational Medicine Platform” in collaboration with the “Tsinghua University Institute of Immunology” and “Chang Gung Memorial Hospital” has entered its initial phase. The first step is the establishment of the “Tsinghua University Joint Research Center for Digestive Immune Diseases,” which integrates the academic advantages and research achievements of the “Institute of Immunology at Tsinghua University” with the expertise of outstanding clinicians from “Beijing Tsinghua Chang Gung Hospital,” along with its vast pathological resources and established patient sample and information databases.

This initiative aims to achieve substantial collaboration between basic and clinical medicine, cultivate outstanding research-oriented physicians, and enhance international stature and influence. The goal is to establish a high-level translational medicine platform within 10 years.
