The "Medical Microbiology Core Facility" is a specialized scientific research service platform committed to providing a safe and efficient experimental environment and technical support for infectious and immunological research. Centered on biosafety, the platform integrates advanced equipment for microbial cultivation, high-resolution imaging, dynamic observation, and flow cytometry sorting, establishing the largest and most fully functional P2-level experimental platform at Tsinghua University. It is also the university's first shared facility supporting anaerobic microorganism research.

We offer biosafety training, instrument sharing, strain resources, and specialized technical support to both internal and external research groups and enterprises, encompassing diverse needs such as pathogenic microorganism research, microbial-host interaction cell culture, and anaerobic bacterial experiments, fostering collaborative innovation in the field of microbiology. In the future, the platform will continue to expand resource reserves, optimize service processes, and advance infectious disease research and microbial technology innovation, delivering enhanced support to scientific research institutions and industry partners.
