The School of Medicine, Tsinghua University - Xiamen Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Allergy Disease Joint Research Center was officially established on August 31, 2019. The center aims to enhance the basic research and clinical diagnosis and treatment of allergic diseases in China, striving to develop into a world-class translational medical research center focused on the immunological foundations of the occurrence, development, and progression of allergic diseases, as well as immunological intervention strategies. The center encourages and strengthens collaboration and communication between basic scientists and clinicians through project applications, thereby promoting bidirectional cooperation between basic research and clinical translation. The expected research outcomes are expected to contribute to the establishment of national standards or industry guidelines for allergic diseases, advance research and development in the field of allergic diseases in China, and provide significant support for scientific innovation, clinical applications, as well as lifestyle guidance and chronic disease management for patients with allergic diseases.
