The Shen Xiaohua Laboratory (http://xshenlab.com) is dedicated to exploring novel functions of non-coding nucleic acids in the regulation of chromatin organization and transcriptional expression. Our research spans both systems-level and molecular-level studies, focusing on new paradigms by which genomic repetitive sequences, non-coding RNAs, and RNA-binding proteins influence transcription and higher-order chromatin structure. We aim to uncover universal principles governing cell fate determination from a unique perspective.

We welcome highly independent and inquisitive Ph.D. researchers to join our team! Competitive postdoctoral compensation packages will be offered. Applicants should have a background in life sciences or molecular and cellular biology, with expertise in big data and bioinformatics, biochemistry, or physics.
