About the Platform
“Medical–Engineering Integration” is a major research thrust at Tsinghua University. Our cross-disciplinary team has established the Cardiovascular Implant & Interventional Functional Testing Platform within the School of Basic Medical Sciences to provide high-quality R&D services for advanced medical devices. The platform has previously conducted laboratory evaluations for domestically developed total artificial hearts and ECMO products, and is currently co-developing a plasma skin-therapy device with industry partners.
Position: Postdoctoral Researcher
Supervisor: Prof. Zhiyong Lou
Research Focus
Preclinical evaluation of biocompatibility (biosafety) and effectiveness of medical devices. Prior experience in cell, animal, and blood/hemocompatibility experiments is preferred.
Responsibilities & Requirements
1. Ph.D. (within the last 3 years; under 35 years old) with research/working experience relevant to medical device biocompatibility and efficacy testing. Priority for candidates experienced in:Flow cytometry, Western blot, and related cell-biology techniques;Animal surgery and disease/implant animal model establishment;Blood/hemocompatibility testing.
2. Strong publication record; first-/co-first-author papers in SCI-indexed journals preferred.
3. Excellent English communication and academic writing skills.
4. Diligent, reliable, highly responsible; strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
